Busy, beautiful day!

Apparently they were celebrating Buddah's birth today. And we got free popcorn and taiyaki(?) too! Haha.


The main touristy area in Hagi and a pottery shop airing out the family's futons.


At Shizuki-koen (park) - there were LOTS of people. (Check out the guy in the crazy outfit. He later decided we were all film-worthy.)



Tomiyama-san took us to lunch at her favorite cafe and joined us on the stroll through the park.

And an ice cube kept Aeris busy while we chatted after dinner - a great distraction for a baby!)
